In essence, rather than drawing it in squares I drew it in an Ogee network (see my tangle Slalom-http://lifeimitatesdoodles.blogspot.com/2010/12/my-tangle-pattern-slalom.html). Instead of using circles, I filled the sections with Wisket. It isn't difficult, but you have to be willing to let the motifs be uneven. Or maybe not. Probably some of you out there would be able to be more precise with this than I am. I'm not known for my line control, lol!Sandra Straithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03949239747612833617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2694466310770273988.post-76780294478139554912011-03-26T06:01:58.949-07:002011-03-26T06:01:58.949-07:00I see a version of Wisket at the top of the tangle...I see a version of Wisket at the top of the tangle, but is that also a version of Wisket across the bottom of the tile? I have to learn how to do that flowing ribbon effect. Can you please, please, please tell me how you did that part at the bottom?chaunnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2694466310770273988.post-35639999577191338842011-03-25T14:42:43.459-07:002011-03-25T14:42:43.459-07:00c'est super beau!!!

This is a very flexible tangle.

Look at the drawing sideways, and you'll see two Ogee strings. I used Wisket to fill them. The black and white areas are not equal in length. They just follow the shape of the Ogee.

I used Pitt Brush pens for the shading. They do give a water-color look to the work.Sandra Straithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03949239747612833617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2694466310770273988.post-2035829012004654962011-01-03T09:11:53.909-08:002011-01-03T09:11:53.909-08:00fantastic!!! this zentangle inspired me for today&...fantastic!!! this zentangle inspired me for today's drawing...pls tell me the name of the "raising atlantis" tangle.i would like to mention it when posting.thank you!
ps-the shading is made of pencil? looks like watercolor...superbIldikohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04405407485694691807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2694466310770273988.post-32399615951966073692010-12-27T15:09:21.718-08:002010-12-27T15:09:21.718-08:00this is awesome!this is awesome!Carole Ohlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11021544653176389487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2694466310770273988.post-9363557416447041382010-12-27T13:03:22.128-08:002010-12-27T13:03:22.128-08:00Oh how fun !!
