So, I've been posting a lot of the Ogee and Faux-gee patterns lately. You know. The ones that look like strings of garlic bulbs. So this time, I really went with the garlic look. This pattern does well with the rough and ready, so just heap it on, and get creative.
No resulting bad breath. Guaranteed.
Loving your latest patterns. Working on a tangle (it is weeks in between them right now or so it seems) and finally got smart enough to use my ink smudging on purpose. If you can't beat them, join them. Thought you would appreciate this turn of events as you always seem interested in technique and process.
ReplyDeleteMost definitely! You don't get much smudging with permanent ink pen, but I use it with my Pitts and some of the water-based ink pens. I'll keep an eye for your examples!
ReplyDeleteAre you a member of Lacefairy1's Zentangle Supplies and Techniques group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/zentools/)? I know a lot of people are frightened by the idea of smudging. It would be a relief to them, to find they could actually use it!
