I'm feeling share-y today so you get two tangle patterns for the price of none!
Kit @ Dreamscribe Designs turned me onto a book "The Great Book of Celtic Patterns" and three pages in I had to stop and create a pattern.

Love this! It looks so complicated but once you break it down it is totally doable. And what a fabulous design to embellish. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love celtic patterns, but I found them challenging to de-construct. You did a great job with this one!
ReplyDeleteLovely. I've enjoyed these complex patterns all my life (part Scottish) and got my first "how to" book of knot patterns some 20 years ago. They're utterly fascinating, yes? You did a great job here.
ReplyDeletelove it!
ReplyDeleteoooh, very twisty and turny ;) gorgeous art work and tangle
ReplyDeleteA lovely pattern to do - as Diane said, it seems so impossibly complicated but you have made it easily comprehensible. I've already used it a lot!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteIt was interesting to find your pattern on Musterquelle. I too have deconstructed this but I start with stoic on the squares and build it along the row I find it easier. But I find your wavy line an interesting addition. Thanks for sharing.
