Cookie Bookie Bleedthrumanade for the Morning After

*Yawn*  I'm sure most Americans agree with that sentiment this morning.  Why in the world do they make people return to work after a holiday like Independence Day?

I actually had a quiet holiday.  That is, I didn't do much in the evening.  After an afternoon picnic, most of my family went off to pack, and most of them left this morning.  Hubby and I were drained after the last couple of weeks, so we decided to veg, but we live near a park that has a show every year, and we had fireworks serenading us right up until midnight.  So maybe 'quiet' isn't quite the word, lol!

I've so much I want to share with you this week.  I received all sorts of goodies over the last couple of weeks, both prizes and freebies, and I have reviews planned.  I hardly know where to begin!

I think I'll start with something easy.

I have a Daycraft Cookie Bookie bleedthrumanade that I did during the week.  I thought I had already scanned in the color before tangling, but I hadn't (*sigh*), so no before and after.  That seems appropriate for the Morning After.  (Okay.  It's a reach, but I had to come up with something, lol!)

I got a little too ambitious with the back of this one.  I decided to use the lines of the Cookie Bookie paper for a grid, again.  Not a bad idea, but it is too small a grid to accomodate color, fineliner pen, and white gel pen, and things got a bit crowded.  In the future I must remember, when Cookie Bookie-ing, to either go for a grid page or for a bleedthrumanade.  But it was still fun to do, and gave me the chance to use Teeny, the tangle pattern that Moon Attic dedicated to me.
