I love Robert Burridge.  His work always looks like a mess, and then suddenly it isn't.  He works mostly in acrylics, but it doesn't matter what medium you use.  You can't help but learn from this guy.  I found a few of his videos and spent too much time watching them.  Now I'm way behind for the day.  Wah!

    I've used his technique with a lot of my 'saves' when I'm doing color work. I swear-
    tThe bigger the mess, the cooler it looks when you create negative shapes with it.
