I bought a 22x 30 sheet of Fabriano Tiziano in a lovely Aqua color at Michaels, and cut it down so I could make a journal of 4x4 pages.
I used this page to lift off the last of some color from a Gelli plate print, and then tangled using a Pigma Micron pen. The official Zentangle tiles are made using Fabriano Tiepolo, so this is a similar surface, though not quite the same.

Very pretty. I like using different kinds of paper. I have not purchased any on the official tiles yet, but would love to use some and see how they feel.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I do like the Teipolo better than the Tiziano, but the Tiziano is just easier for me to find since it is carried at Michaels.
