I was using up some watercolor paint off my palette, and then I used the background it provided for this piece done with a black Pentel Colorbrush and Sakura Gellyrolls for added color and highlights.
Neither scan nor photo got the colors right--that's the bad thing about shiny gel pen ink. But even the watercolor background came out more yellow and washed out. *sigh*
