This started as another painting exercise from Kory Fluckiger's "Watercolor for the First Time'. About half way through, I decided that I had probably taken in most of what this book had to teach--not that the book is bad, but is a bit basic for me. I enjoyed the exercises I did, and they were good practice. If I go awhile without painting, I might consider doing them again as a warm-up to get started.
Meanwhile, instead of completing the painting as per the exercise, I decided to do some tangling instead.
Yarka St. Petersburg pan watercolors in a Gamma Stillman and Birn's sketchbook. Linework was done with Ohto Graphic liners in a variety of tip size.
