Alice Hendon latest book, Tangle Starts Planner: Tangle Through the Year (Artangleology) (Volume 2) is a cross between a bullet journal and a tangle journal. There are step-outs for 106 tangle patterns, 97 of which are new. Even though this book is set up for Bullet Journaling, it doesn't have any dates, just suggestions for you to add your style of planner journal, so you could also use it for any style of journaling, or tangle diary. This drawing was actually done before Alice's book came out, but it uses three of my tangles that Alice included in the book - Tophat, Corset and i-Wear.
I haven't had time to do as much as I've wanted but I have started using the collections section to make a list of possible plants that might give me inspiration for future Fun & Easy Step-outs.
On the first page, I listed some interesting plants among the photos that popped up when I googled 'desert flowers'. On the next page, I started quick drawings of a few. My step-outs aren't meant to be realistic, so I wrote down the things that I felt would make an interesting plant, and a quick sketch to get me started.
On another page, I did a rough version of the step-out that I'll be using for tomorrow's Fun & Easy Landscape post. It's pretty light since it's in pencil. Don't worry if you can't make out all the steps. Just check back on Friday and you'll see the prettier version, lol.
