If you are here for my Zebra Pen Zensations Mechanical Colored Pencils Giveaway,
you can find it here.
Today, my hubby took a German Shepherd Puppy in his lunch bag.
The German Shepherd is also known as the Alsatian.
The first seeing eye dog a German Shepherd, Buddy, back in 1920.
Drawn with Zebra Pen Zensations Technical Pen and colored with Zebra Pen Sarasa Fineliners
on a Hahnemühle Watercolour Postcard.

I really like this combination. One of the things you have to deal with when coloring with marker pens is that most of the colors are the same intensity, and it is hard to get the range of light to dark that is so valuable in creating contrast and interest.
The rough linen like surface of the Hahnemühle Watercolour Postcard breaks up the line allowing you to use these Fineliners almost like they were colored pencils. You can get lighter color from even the darkest pens and it's so easy to blend the colors together.
