The Phrontistery describes the word Zanella as 'mixed twilled umbrella fabric'. This pattern sort of makes me think of looking down at a sidewalk cafe, at umbrella tops.
I could have shown this with fewer steps, but I thought the lines might confuse the eye, so I did the long version.
Oh, this is lovely! So is your layout! Thanks for the extra steps, I am sure that they will be helpful
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeletewow!stunning!!!i love that heart pattern a LOT!!!
ReplyDeletebtw the layout is a bit too loaded for me,it distracts atention but it's only my humble opinion :)
Another cool pattern - can't wait to try it out. Yes, I too am glad for the extra steps - very helpful.
ReplyDeleteLove the changes to the site!

Yes, I commented that there was something "fishy" going on with the site but it now appears the fish have disappeared!
ReplyDeleteHey hey, congratulations, your Jack and the Beanstalk won an award over on FlickR. Yahoo!
ReplyDeleteThank you all!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the busy background. I was playing with the new template designer, trying out different setups. Then I had to leave, and never got back to it. I'm going to have to do up something like that fish design though. Who wouldn't love a zendoodle full of fish skeletons?
Thanks for the congrats. The Fotovotr group seems to have discovered me. Kinda nice to open up my Flickr acct and find all those ruby red icons!
Hi, I just came across your site and saw the Zanella pattern. I named my daughter Zanella, she loves doing zentangles too, I will have to show her that she has her very own pattern. Beautiful artwork!
ReplyDeleteI hope your daughter enjoys the pattern. It's one of my favorites!
