Weekly Challenge #11: Monotangles-my attempt

Here's my response to Laura Harms' Weekly Challenge #11: Monotangles.  I've been playing around with a Cadent in Cadent, and this was a good chance to really play with it.

I did another attempt in color, but the scan was truly horrible.  I suspect that my scanner may be going on the fritz.  *sigh*

  2. OMG, Sandra - that's awesome!! I think it might be floating in water (that's what the little drifty bits off the edges remind me of). xoxo

  4. This is wonderful! It has a rustic character that gives the impression of age....from times when craft was incredible. Yes incredible!

  6. That border is great, along with the rest. It really adds to the design and loosely follows the same pattern.

  7. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw your finished art was amoeba. Like these little microbs were floating around in this drop of water and they all of a sudden clung to one another and wa-la! Cool.

  15. I just saw a different art of cadent. Seeing the different interprtations everyone has is inspiring. This in and interesting twist on the tangle. I see both a happy amoeba and a gentle flowing Borg Cube Ship (so much nicer than the species themself!).
