So I terminated the grand experiment with Dynamic Views. Too many people contacted me to let me know that they were unable to make the views work.
I think the format will be wonderful, and suspect it will become a norm in the future. But for now, it isn't compatible with older browsers and while it expands the ways to show your posts, it limits what you can do with all those blinkies and widgets and goodies that you store on the sidebars.
Hopefully, the upgrades will come quickly, and I can try again. Thank you all for your feedback!

:D I went back to my old blog look a few days ago myself. The sign in button disappeared and there were just too many kinks in it for me. Plus I missed my widgets. I like posting the books I've read lately, quotes and pics that I want to stay in the forefront for a while. I expect, as well, that once the bugs are worked out, it will be the norm.
ReplyDeleteLike the 'new' old look... and user friendliness is such a big plus! The experimental change was a bit frustrating to navigate. Thanks, Sandra.
ReplyDeleteYeah. I think Blogger has a good idea but jumped the gun.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to be back with the familiar!
