I've been making my Christmas Cards-kind of!

For my close family, instead of Christmas Cards, I decided to make Meander Books (you can find a video with directions from SplitCoastStampers at YouTube).

Each page of the meander book has a pocket, so I stuffed them!

On the inside I pasted a refrain of the lyrics from Bette Midler's The Rose:
"Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snow
Lies the seed that with the sun's love,
In the spring, becomes the rose."

In the pockets, I stuffed a packet of Everlasting flower seeds, and tags with a wish that the New Year would be as full of potential and beauty as the seeds.  I added one photo to each book that was relevant to the receiver but left the rest of the pages blank for them to add their own photos.

A little more involved that cards, but fun, and I think the recipients will appreciate them!
