This is the second painting I did Plein Air during my visit to a FRANCISCAN VILLA in Bridal Veil, Oregon. I can't wait to sit down with my photos and do some more detailed work.
I recently purchased a palette of Quiller watercolors and I used the Ultramarine Violet mixed with Qor's Green Gold for much of the painting, adding Richeson Green for some contrast. The rocks were done with Daniel Smith's Lunar Red Rock.
The detail was drawn with a J. Herbin Creapen brush pen. The painting was done in a Stillman and Birn Beta sketchbook 9x12.
