After posting about a special that Daniel Smith was running a couple of days ago, I received several questions asking what watercolor ground was.
I decided the easiest way to answer was to post this link to the Daniel Smith watercolor ground page. Scroll down a bit and there is a video that shows you how you can use it to salvage a watercolor mistake (one of it's many uses). There are links to a couple of tutorials on the page as well.
I've never used the ground myself, and I'm really looking forward to the sample I ordered from the special. I don't know if it is still running but you might want to check it out. They also have the 66 color dots available as a freebie if you buy the ground at regular price. I keep looking at that!
